A Day In The Life

Scope and Impact

• Lead development of complex web applications focusing on high performance using React and micro-frontend architectures
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance our web platforms, ensuring they meet market and technological standards

Strategic Contribution

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align web engineering with business strategies and contribute to product roadmaps
• Promote micro-frontend architectures for modularity, scalability, and team autonomy

Delivery Responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of web applications from conception to deployment, adhering to standards
• Implement early integration practices for security, performance, and user experience

Leadership Accountabilities

• Mentor junior developers in React and micro-frontend best practices
• Lead agile processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives

What It Takes

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience with micro-frontend architectures
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, RESTful APIs
• Experience with DevSecOps tools, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and leadership skills
• Effective communicator, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
