R&C/PMK New York is seeking an Assistant Account Executive to join our Talent team focusing on film and television clients. Candidate must be a self-starter, able to multi-task several moving parts and prioritize multiple running projects. Must be an excellent writer, have strong attention to detail, and be a great team player.
The Fine Print:Maintain and coordinate the busy schedule for several publicists and their clientsCreate and edit client press schedulesMonitor press clippings for clients and create/maintain coverage reports and gridsHandle incoming press requests and some pitching of stories to media outletsOngoing maintenance and updating media listsReview and edit press materials including client biosEnsure that press kits are currentRespond and inform client/industry interaction via phone and e-mailConnect press phone interviews for clientsProvide administrative support including setting up conference calls, meetings, taking notes, expenses and other tasks as neededBook travel arrangements and create detailed travel itineraries (air, hotel & ground transportation) for clients and publicistsThe Needs:
1+ year of experience working in entertainment or an agency setting preferredExperience working with talent, production companies, film studios, and agencies is strongly preferredStrong proficiency in Microsoft OfficeKnowledge in Muck Rack, Cision, and other entertainment research-based programs preferredExceptional verbal and written communication skills, AP style proficientAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentPositive, team-oriented attitudeAbility to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities accurately with minimal supervisionDemonstrate strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and pride in delivering quality results and understanding the business impactSelf-directed, proactive, eager to learnAble to professionally interact with clientsDesires a long-term career in entertainment publicityOutstanding organizational and time management skillsResponsive and professional written and verbal communication skills

Salary: $40,000.00- $45,000 annually
