Position Overview
The Marketing Specialist will provide expertise and assistance to the Senior Marketing Manager and Chief Marketing Officer to ensure the marketing team's goals and initiatives for the firm are accomplished.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and create marketing emails, amongst all business lines, on a weekly, monthly, and as-needed basis, ensuring brand guidelines are met
- Manage the production of quarterly data-driven materials from beginning to end within our project management platform
- Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums
- Assist in coordinating and executing marketing projects and campaigns from kickoff to completion, including, but not limited to, content development, live webinars, conferences, and online events
- Prepare charts and visualizations from internal systems on a recurring basis to support presentations and ongoing reporting; analyze and report on performance and efficiency of campaigns
- Manage company social media platforms with regularly scheduled posts and creative content including but not limited to X, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Stay current with new compliance policies and disclosures to ensure marketing materials remain compliant
- Monitor marketing inbox and ensure all incoming emails are addressed
- Assist Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Marketing Manager as needed, including but not limited to scheduling meetings, taking notes, updating presentations and maintaining marketing expenses
- Manage own projects/tasks from beginning to end within our project management software
- Proactively communicates effectively and efficiently
- Willingness to learn how to use new technology, software, platforms, etc.
- Adjusts easily to change, is patient and flexible to meet challenges on a daily basis
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal, internal and client facing
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate many activities and manage strict deadlines
- Self-starter with a drive to learn and the ability to work independently or collaboratively and under deadline pressure
- Ability to apply critical thinking and complete tasks on time with strong attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field of study preferred
- 1-3 years of executive-level administrative assistance, marketing experience, or investment-related industry preferred
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop or be willing to learn
- Strong copywriting and editing skills
- Proficiency with webinar platforms and video conferencing tools or be willing to learn
- Experience with website management platforms or be willing to learn
- Familiarity with social media channels
