The Promotion Associate - Retail Chain Accounts is responsible for driving brand presence and increasing sales for BBG brands through participation in creative and impactful in-store and market events. They will attend targeted promotions in the field, engaging consumers and building relationships with both consumers and our brands.
This role is part-time, primarily based in the Thornton area, with additional time in Arvada and Superior.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary is determined based on internal equity, market data, applicant’s skills, and relevant experience.
Compensation: Hourly Rate = $25.00
Responsibilities:
- Achieve sell-through from new distribution and select items by collaborating with account staff to identify and communicate selling opportunities, complete surveys, and track bottles sold per hour during events.
- Educate clients, account staff, and other promotion associates on assigned labels.
- Monitor inventory levels and alert the National Account Manager of stock fluctuations.
- Maintain account standards using effective point-of-sale materials to maximize brand visibility.
- Collaborate with chain staff, distributors, and suppliers to increase brand sales and ensure successful promotional events.
- Provide excellent customer service as per account standards and guidance.
- Stay informed on industry knowledge by attending workshops, training, reviewing publications, and networking.
- Complete all required training programs and pass necessary assessments.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic PC skills, including MS Office and presentation software.
- Results-oriented with strong communication, customer service, and discretion skills.
- Ability to multitask, work independently or in a team, with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits; experience in wine sales or service is highly preferred.
- Strong accounting, technical, and interpersonal skills are advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and operate a computer and telephone.
Competencies:
- Responsible for meeting personal targets; performance is periodically reviewed.
- Tasks are routine and repetitive, with available solutions.
