Job Title: Public Relations & Marketing Specialist Location: Honolulu, HI-5 days Onsite Employment Term: Full Time Role and Responsibilities Responsible for creating content and maintaining all Social Media accounts associated with client’s Stores and its Affiliates, including Basalt and Lineage Restaurants. To include: Manage and effectively monitor and respond to social media results on all platforms Develop and implement creative and highly measurable public relations and marketing strategies and programs Assist in developing marketing strategies to increase retail sales and social media readership and fan base followers Collaborate directly with Store Managers, Buyers, Graphics, and E-Commerce Departments on advertising, menus, special events, etc. Use digital media experience to include photography/videography and editing to produce excellent results for advertising and social media Maintain photo databases for all social media platforms and all websites affiliated with client's Stores Coordinate filming and photo sessions with local and international media for stores and restaurants Qualifications and Skills Must be proficient in MS Office with expertise in Word and Excel, Adobe Photoshop, Canva and other similar apps Must have exceptional communication (verbal and writing) skills Must have exceptional organizational skills Must be creative and innovative with planning and marketing products Must have excellent customer/employee relationship skills Must maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff and company information Experience and Education Requirements Min 3 years’ experience in public relations and/or marketing in retail and/or restaurant. Preferred BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related area or equivalent. Must have a valid Hawaii driver’s license and own transportation.
