Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns to achieve business objectivesWorks closely with authors and partners on media tours and publicity initiatives. Develops and handles relationships with media, bloggers, and influencers with the objective of gaining coverage for books and authors. Writes press releases.Executes the e-mail marketing plan: creation and scheduling of mailings, periodic newsletters, and email marketing campaigns targeted to consumersManages social media channelsTrack metrics and success criteria for all marketing efforts. Able to work with appropriate quantitative and qualitative data for analysis and reporting, from online and offline sources, with a variety of formats and structures.Organizes and coordinate company's participation in trade shows and book fairs as well as author eventsCommunicates plans and strategies to in-house team, including editorial and sales departmentOccasionally travels with authors for book toursWorks on catalogs, ads, banners, and direct mail as required for the audience and seasonal listProvides additional digital marketing and website support as neededRequirements:
Native level in Spanish, fluent in EnglishKnowledge of the Hispanic market in the US preferredGreat leadership and team management skillsHighly organized and detail-orientedExcellent communication skillsDemonstrates exceptional customer service abilities, including empathy, patience, advocacy, and conflict resolutionStrong ability to receive and implement feedback effectivelyProficient in analyzing data and aligning outcomes with business objectivesSkilled in integrating digital marketing, traditional editorial marketing, and publicity strategiesProficiency in Canva or Photoshop and Microsoft OfficeSelf-motivated and capable of taking a hands-on approach when necessary
The salary range for this position is $76,000-$80,000. All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to Company results.
