Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior/Principal Machine Learning Engineer with a forte in Performance advertising. You will be integral in architecting high-performance systems that drive campaign success. With your deep understanding of Performance DSP workflows, you will create innovative algorithms and systems focused on optimizing real-time bidding strategies, surpassing advertiser KPIs, and maximizing ROI, thereby enhancing performance-driven spending on the PubMatic platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced features that enhance Performance DSPs, optimizing various ad formats including interstitial video, rewarded video, and display ads.
- Improve auction efficiency and integrate seamlessly within Performance DSP workflows to enhance ROI for advertisers and increase DSP spending on the platform.
- Use machine learning and data-driven insights to improve bid efficiency, boost campaign performance, and refine ad delivery strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, and the CTO team to align technical solutions with the objectives of Performance DSP.
- Optimize attribution tracking, user value modeling, and ML-driven performance enhancements to maximize campaign impact.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a Performance DSP, with a profound grasp of programmatic advertising workflows, RTB, audience targeting, and bidding strategies.
- Extensive knowledge of mobile advertising ecosystems, associated SDKs, and optimization methods.
- Strong expertise in Machine Learning, Ad-Server/Bidder architecture, and Gen-AI.
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Mathematics.
Compensation and Benefits:
Base Salary Range: $150,000 - $170,000. In accordance with applicable law, this is PubMatic's reasonable estimate of the base salary for the role. Actual amounts may vary based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Additionally, PubMatic provides a bonus, restricted stock units, and a competitive benefits package.

Return to Office Policy: PubMatic employees have adopted a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office and 2 days remote) aimed at fostering collaboration, innovation, and productivity among teams.
