Overview
We are seeking a Material Expeditor for a position in Salt Lake City, UT. This position operates a motorized vehicle (less than 10,000 lb. capacity) used to transport personnel (less than 9), equipment, paperwork, safety equipment, tools and/or other materials throughout the worksite and on public roadways. Non-exempt role; Reports to Foreman or Supervisor; Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.
Essential Qualifications:
* Computer literacy - Google Workspace and other software systems* Attention to detail, detail oriented work is a must* Communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills* No per diem available, this is a maintenance position* Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation* Pass background check* High school or equivalent* Valid/current driver's license and meet all applicable qualifications in accordance with all state and federal DOT laws and regulations and company/client requirements, for operating motorized vehicles* Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, nomex, etc.)* Safety equipment must be worn when required and/or necessary for the safe completion of the job at hand (e.g. hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, seat belt, safety harness with lanyard, hearing protection, etc.)* Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others at the workplace
Functional Requirements:
Read and sign off on JSA prior to starting shift, Moves hand and foot levers to control operating equipment, Interprets hand signals to determine where materials are to be placed, Inspects each load before pulling it to assure it will be safe in transit, May be required to manipulate equipment on un-level working surfaces, Performs daily inspection such as checking oil, fluids and tire pressure, Reports any unsatisfactory findings to the Foreman, Observes speed limit posted and yields to pedestrians, Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times, Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
Compensation
Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Involvement:
May be required to do the following: climbing ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc. above and below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc.; reaching in all directions; handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes, hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lifting 30 to 50 pounds from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools, equipment, etc.; standing / sitting; walking; pushing; pulling; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction; wearing respirator and other PPE; typing / data entry; stepstool use; work in excessive heat; work in excessive cold; work in loud environment
