Job Description:
Responsible for supervision of Special Events Coordinator and of all Casino Marketing Events, Promotions, Direct Marketing while supporting Property Marketing team
Job Focus:
Focus is on, but not limited to the following:Manages and facilitates casino promotions and special events to support property goalsWorks closely with casino accounting, compliance and other necessary departments regarding promotional rules and general procedural communicationsOversees the execution of all events and promotions while providing excellent customer service to guestsAssists in the creation and brainstorming of new events and promotionsWorks with internal departments as well as outside vendors for any event requests, such as décor, gift giveaways, audio/visual, food and beverage, entertainment, etc.Collaborates with the creative design team for all event and promotional signageBuilds casino promotions in MGT Kiosk Management systemAssists with direct marketing team with setting up direct mail offers and proofingCompletes all event and promotion paperwork and audit proceduresAll other duties as assigned by management
Desired Qualifications:Minimum two to three (2-3) years' experience working in a high-volume casino marketing events and promotions environment required (leadership roles preferred)Must have exceptional time management, organizational skills, and multitasking abilitiesAn intermediate to proficient understanding of computer systems such as: Microsoft Office, Word, Excel & Outlook is preferredProficient use of MGT Kiosk Management system, Stratton Warren and Konami player tracking is preferredMust be able to work in a team environment as well as motivate and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of staff and leadershipProven ability to creatively problem solve and resolve guest conflictsMust have the ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal formsProfessional demeanor and attire required, public speaking skills a plusAbility to working independently with little to no supervisionA valid Nevada Gaming license & Alcohol Awareness Card are required and must be obtained before entering this positionMust be 21 years of age or older
