As an SEO Program Specialist, you'll be responsible for supporting the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Program to increase organic search traffic across our websites.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Develops and synthesizes in-depth research based on SEO Program strategies set by the Program Manager & SEO Manager
- Develops metrics, dashboards, and reports to accurately represent SEO business results
- Monitors and uses data from third-party crawling tools to find opportunities for crawling, rendering, ranking, and indexing of REI's websites.
- Executes the SEO Program strategic plan with leadership from team management
- Reviews implementation of SEO requirements pre and post launch
- Monitors SEO traffic and provides insights to the SEO Program team
- Proactively stays at the forefront of the SEO industry and its constant changes through personal development, networking, and training
- 1-3 years of experience in e-commerce, publisher, or related websites
- 1-3 years of experience in executing an SEO strategy at enterprise scale
- Proven track record of successful organic search optimization implementation
- Experience in Enterprise SEO tools like Botify, DeepCrawl/Lumar, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, BrightEdge, STAT, Google Search Console, and Bing Webmaster Tools.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau or related platform
- A demonstrated background in front-end web technology including HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Technical SEO skills include Schema.org markup, bot behavior monitoring, server log examination, and modifying robots.txt files. XML Sitemaps, canonical management, and server- vs. client-side rendering are also important.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing or related field
- Exceptional proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Agile Scrum or Kanban software development principles

Pay Range
$63,300.00 - $101,500.00 per year
