Overview
Safely and efficiently install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all equipment required for Command Center operations. Includes electronic, electrical and mechanical tasks as required and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Job Description
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Must work safely and promote the safe behavior in others• Two (2) years mining experience required• Knowledge of general computer applications including MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and other general use of computer programs• Use of electronic trouble shooting equipment including multi-meter, Ethernet cable tester, antenna cable tester• Able to test and troubleshoot LAN's and WiFi networks and hardware• Operation of light duty vehicles (with trailers) in diverse weather conditions• Operation of man lifts and/or bucket trucks• Willing to sufficiently document work completed and\or needed• Ability to work alone in remote locations, self-motivated and ability to prioritize work• Schedule and coordinate work with operations to minimize impacts to production• Maintain all equipment and tools in safe manner• Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Maintenance background with experience in electronics, electrical, and mechanical systems preferred• Experience in installing, repairing and maintaining Modular Mining Dispatch Systems (MMSI)• Knowledge of computer programs including Rajant BC Commander Modules, MMSI Mobile Manager, Telnet and Ping utilities, MMSI Command Line Utility, MMSI Dispatch Utilities and Reports

• Motorola Digital Two-Way Radio System• Modular Mining Dispatch System (MMSI)• Matrikon (Fleet Monitoring System)• Rajant (Mesh Communicating System)• PTX• Caterpillar CAES System• Sirius Radios• Installing equipment in mine sized equipment (haul trucks, rubber tire dozers, track dozers, blades, scrapers, shovels, drills, draglines, etc.)• Connecting and tying into Electrical systems (12 and 24 volt)• General computer networking and wireless communications• Mobile repeaters and towers• Hubs (Modular)• Antennas• Communications and system low voltage power cabling• Interface cabling and connection between systems• Power supplies, solar panels, and battery backup systems• Electric gates and sirens• Electrical/electronic schematics
Physical Requirements
SURFACE ENVIRONMENTMust have the ability to stand for up to 4 hours per shiftMust have the ability to be seated for up to 4 hours to operate equipment or vehiclesMust have the ability to work from elevated positions, walk/climb up and down stairs/steps and climb on/off equipment and laddersMust have the ability to wear required protective footwear, hearing and eye protection, and other personal protective equipment as required by Company and MSHAMust have the ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions (push, pull, twist, handle), and have rapid reflex movements of the arms/legs and good hand to eye coordinationMust have the ability to lift/raise 10 - 50 lbs. without mechanical assistance frequently during the work shiftMust have the ability to work in extreme conditions, including but not limited to changing weather conditions, dust, mud, varying levels of noise from low to high decibels, varying degrees of light/dark, in and around artificial light, and in a confined work areaMust have the ability to work various shifts (required shifts include days, evening and nights, with rotating schedules, weekends and holidays)Education
