Position: Part-time Digital Music Teacher
We are seeking an experienced Part-time Digital Music Teacher. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organization skills, and a significant history of successful music education teaching experience. Additionally, candidates are expected to uphold the values and mission of Gilmour Academy and infuse those core values into the education program. Teachers are not only expected to integrate Gilmour’s mission and values but model them as well.
Responsibilities:
- Adapt and implement the existing Digital Music Curriculum to effectively cover key areas such as:
- Digital audio workstation (DAW) operation
- Music theory fundamentals
- Composition and songwriting techniques
- Recording, editing, mixing, and mastering
- Ableton Live
- ProTools
- Reason
- MIDI keyboards
