The Online Editor must be equipped to handle a variety of video production needs including, but not limited to, pre-production and editing. This position works directly with Instructors, video professionals, and instructional media producers to create video content for online classes. The Online Editor will be expected to develop an exciting and innovative approach to production, complementing the field. This role requires an equal balance of creative direction and hands-on video production. Ideal candidates will have experience with Adobe Premiere Pro.
This is a hybrid position working on-campus in San Francisco, California.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain overall quality and execution of educational videos from start to finish.
- Partner with the management team to innovate the process, ideas, and final product delivered to online students on a continuous basis.
- Clearly communicate and justify production choices to the Video Production Lead.
- Utilize evolving technologies, styles, and standards to enhance the video production process and embedded content.
- Demonstrate and maintain enthusiasm to work with industry-leading artists to produce exceptional video content.
- Demonstrate and maintain extensive understanding of all aspects of video production.
- Utilize project management, organization, planning, and communication skills to achieve stated deadlines.
- Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure important educational concepts are clearly captured for all assigned video projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Compensation: $68,640 annually
