Overview
We are currently in search of a part-time marketing intern to join our growing fintech company. This role has flexibility in working hours, with an expected range of 15 to 20 hours. This person will play an integral role in the creation and distribution of high-quality branded content to build brand awareness, generate website traffic and inbound opportunities. Principal Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Management
Develop and design engaging social media posts that reflect the company’s culture, values, and service capabilities across various platforms (i.e., LinkedIn, Facebook).
Collaborate with the marketing and business development teams to create content calendars and ensure a consistent posting schedule.
Write copy for social media posts, ensuring alignment with the company's tone and messaging.
Brand Representation
Understand and articulate the company’s brand voice and messaging in all social media communications.
Promote the company’s services and capabilities through storytelling, case studies, and customer testimonials.
Create posts that highlight employee achievements, company events, and workplace culture to enhance employer branding.
Social Media
Monitor trends and emerging social media platforms to propose new ideas for engagement.
Analyze competitor social media activity to identify opportunities for differentiation.
Analytics and Reporting
Track and report on social media performance metrics, including engagement rates, follower growth, and content reach.
Use analytics tools to identify successful campaigns and areas for improvement.
Assist in preparing reports to present insights and recommendations to the marketing team.
Community Engagement
Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
Monitor online conversations about the company and its services, addressing any issues or opportunities.
Participate in industry-related discussions to increase the company’s visibility and credibility.
Collaboration and Support
Support the marketing team in executing larger campaigns, events, or promotions.
Assist with other marketing tasks as needed, including email campaigns, market research, and content creation.
Creative Development
Help brainstorm and develop creative concepts for social media campaigns.
Create or source visual content, including graphics, videos, and photos, that align with the brand’s aesthetic.
Ensure all content is optimized for different platforms and adheres to brand guidelines.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
Genuine interest and familiarity with social media platforms and best practices.
Strong writing and editing skills with ability to draft clear, engaging and accurate content.
Excels in a team environment, collaborating effectively and communicating proactively.
