Duties
Designs, develops and implements learning and development programs/initiatives. Works in partnership with department colleagues, subject matter experts and department leaders. Plans and implements the instructional design to ensure the learning solution is effective and engaging.
- Designs and develops eLearning, videos vILT, ILT, and performance support materials, utilizing instructional design best practices.
- Analyzes and creates content based on customers’ needs.
- Actively consults and collaborates with the department team and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure learning solutions are instructionally sound, applicable, engaging and effective.
- Creates effective pre- and post-learning assessments aligned with training objectives—to successfully measure effectiveness and the transfer of knowledge.
- Stays current on all learning, learning experience design, and talent development trends.
- Establishes respectful working relationships to maximize teamwork.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in instructional design, curriculum and design, adult education, or instructional technology, or a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Three to five years of experience implementing adult learning principles in a corporate training, or professional services environment, with an emphasis on elearning and instructor-led training.
- Proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Adobe PhotoShop, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PeopleSoft.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Consulting - Lead consulting and review meetings. Recommend learning and non-instructional, performance solutions.
- Research and Analysis - Conduct audience, stakeholder, and logistics analysis. Identify competencies and skills gaps.
- Learning Experience Design - Create measureable learning objectives and classroom and digital learning solutions using adult learning principles and methodologies.
- Project Management - Organize and prioritize work. Prepare project status reports.
- Capable of working effectively and efficiently in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.
- Creative, innovative, and flexible.
- Strong customer service skills.
