Summary
We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our marketing and communications team. The ideal candidate will have a highly adaptive skill set, a keen eye for detail, and experience working in the financial services industry. This role requires proficiency in both digital and print design, with the ability to create engaging visuals across various platforms. As an essential member of the Marketing and Communications team, the successful applicant will play a pivotal role in maintaining and elevating RenaissanceRe's global brand, using purposeful design to tell stories visually.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the marketing and communications team and external agencies to design and develop a wide array of creative assets and marketing materials, both digital and print content, including campaign visuals, presentations, social media graphics, infographics, event collateral, advertisements, brochures, and reports. Regularly produce and maintain supporting documents, including reports, financial statements, and presentations with updates required on a quarterly basis. Ensure brand consistency and alignment with financial industry standards of design across various channels and all areas of the business. Stay informed about the latest trends, innovative designs, and advanced techniques in graphic design. Assist in the development and maintenance of the global brand guidelines. Communicate with stakeholders to receive feedback and make necessary adjustments to materials. Review final productions for errors and ensure that final prints reflect specifications. Provide advanced level design and visual services support for both internal and external projects/presentations. Design and maintain company signage, stationery and templates in line with brand guidelines. Create engaging LinkedIn artwork and corporate social media graphics. Drive creative solutions from concept through completion on a variety of media including infographics, video, email & web, animation, illustration, print, events, and presentations. Organize and maintain creative assets, including logos, image library, working files, and more in an data asset management library. Skills and Capabilities
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, exceptionally, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with WordPress for basic website updates. Strong knowledge and experience of layout design, graphic design fundamentals, typography skills and data visualizations with attention to detail. Experience with Workiva (Wdesk Platform) preferred but not required. Proficiency in motion graphics, animation and video editing is highly desirable. Qualifications
Experience working with financial services clients and understanding of industry design standards. Corporate or agency background preferred. 5-7+ years of professional design experience. A strong portfolio that showcases design application of various mediums and channels. Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Graphic Design, or Visual Communications, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
The Marketing and Communications team is the center of brand excellence for RenaissanceRe. An integral part of the wider Corporate Communications team with responsibility for all aspects of the brand, advertising, presentations, corporate website, bespoke events as well as internal and external communications.
