Job requires the ability to communicate effectively via email and in person through utilizing power point and other multi-media presentations, willing to travel and enjoy being a member of a team.The candidate should possess strong business development skills, high standards for professionalism and quality, excellent account management and organizational skills, and have a growth mindset. They should also possess the ability to work both independently and directly with team members, as well as build strong relationships with other departments in the company and collaborate with them.The ideal candidate does not have to have a foodservice background, but a keen interest in marketing strategies and tactics specific to supporting and helping customers develop comprehensive print and online media programs to grow their business. They should not be afraid to delve into technical topics or learn new industries. The sales process is relationship oriented with a high level of accountability expected.This is a full-time, salaried position with commission opportunities and the ability to work remotely. Travel is required to industry events and meetings with clients and prospects (approx. 20%).Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Serve as the first point of entry / contact for the sales department on the assigned brand(s), answering incoming calls and general email inquiries as necessaryConduct outbound calling and emails into vertical market targetsWork with vertical brand leaders and management on cross-vertical proposals and account relationships as requiredMaintain and nurture leads and directed and within designated timeframes within CRM SystemOn-board and follow up of deliverables upon executed engagement agreements / projectsAssess lead quality and schedule appointments with prospect as appropriateCoordinate with accounting team on invoicing and other billing/receivable mattersConduct research that supports the development of the sales pipeline, such as performing company searches or gathering client or market trend information; stay updated with the industry and with new products and servicesCommunicate feedback from leads and customers as appropriate within the organizationSupport management, events, marketing and custom content teams as neededCreate engagement letter and follow up with customer as required for project requirements and order statusIdentify and respond to problems with clients and suggesting recommendations to management for a resolutionPrepare and engage in weekly/monthly sales reporting and meetingsRequirements4+ years of B2B sales experience, with demonstrated successCollege degree (preferred)Committed to sales and revenue growth and exceptional service to clientsStrong judgement and high standards as a sales professionalAbility to follow processes and proceduresDemonstrate strong sense of urgency and initiativeAttention to detail, multi-tasking and organized approach to tasks and record-keepingProfessionalism in personality, appearance, and work productAbility to set goals and execute to meet deadlines while maintaining integrity in the processPositive attitude, ability to quickly build rapport with clients and team membersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExpertise in outbound phone salesProven ability to work independently/individually and to work on small teamsQuick learner and ability to adapt in a fast paced, growing environmentStrong negotiating skills and experience using a consultative, solution-based sales systemHands on experience with CRM software ; advanced knowledge/expertise using MS office and/or Google SuiteBasic understanding of sales performance metricsABOUT WTWH MEDIAFounded in 2006, WTWH Media LLC, a ten time Inc. 5000 honoree, is an integrated B2B media company serving the electronics, design engineering, healthcare, hospitality, life sciences, renewable energy, R&D, retail and robotics markets with more than 80+ websites, 30 in-person events, 10 print publications and custom digital marketing services.
