Job Description
617MediaGroup, one of the fastest-growing progressive communications agencies in the U.S., is looking for a PAID Creative Project Management intern to join our growing team. We move public opinion, win tough fights, and tell impactful stories. Our services include earned media, paid campaigns, digital strategy, design, websites, and video, primarily supporting social justice causes. This is a part-time, paid position ($20.36/hour) requiring a minimum of 25 hours per week, with occasional night and weekend work. Who you are: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in fast-paced environments. Interested in website design and project management. Excellent communicator, able to manage multiple tasks and timelines. Eager to learn and grow in web design and digital industries. Problem-solver with a positive attitude. Capable of working collaboratively and independently. Passionate about supporting diverse teams and projects. What you'll be doing: Assist in creating and managing project plans, timelines, and deliverables for website design projects. Collaborate with designers, digital staff, and developers to ensure projects meet deadlines and client specifications. Track project status and identify potential roadblocks. Coordinate meetings and facilitate communication among teams, stakeholders, and clients. Maintain project documentation, including feedback, timelines, and resources. Support quality assurance by reviewing design outputs for client alignment. Assist with client communications, feedback, and updates. Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks to support the project management team. What we're looking for: Current student or recent graduate interested in project management, web design, and digital advertising. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Monday.com) is a plus. Basic knowledge of web design principles or experience with design software (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch) is a bonus. Basic knowledge of WordPress or other website CMS. Experience with Meta ads platform is preferred. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Proactive and adaptable mindset.
