Responsibilities
- Create and execute upon the strategy and execution of Marketing-driven high-profile corporate events, sponsorship activations and client hospitality programs to drive brand awareness, pipeline and KPI targets.
- Assist in creating Marketing assets to drive brand consideration among prospects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members (Product, Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, etc.) for optimal orchestration and execution of events.
- Provide clear communication of the Events function to all stakeholders.
- Plan and execute event planning strategy, including event communications, budgeting, logistics, vendor negotiations and on-site execution.
- Align events calendar against B2B marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Lead and manage event vendors, organizers, staff, event timelines, run-of-show documents and contingency plans (digital and on-site).
- Leverage event management tools and technology, including registration platforms, mobile app development and digital engagement solutions to streamline planning and enhance attendee experience.
- Ensure brand consistency and high-quality execution across all event touchpoints.
- Evaluate post-event statistics to create conclusive reports that evaluate ROI and overall event performance (and guide future event strategies).
- Work to widen our visibility, expand our networking opportunities, and increase our touch points with high priority targets, leads and customers.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in B2B event marketing.
- Proven experience with event planning/coordination for B2B financial services.
- Able to manage multiple calendars, travel and logistical reporting.
- Team-oriented approach - you're a true team player and can work in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytically inclined, exceptional organizational skills, with rigorous attention to detail.
- Creative, self-motivated and excited to be a part of a high-performing team.
- Hands-on experience with Event Platforms like Stova or CVent, Salesforce, Marketing Automation tools with an eye for design and aesthetics.
- An enjoyment of traveling.
- A go-getter with a passion for event coordination and integrated event marketing.
- Excellent communicator and superb organizational skills.
- Skilled negotiator with proven experience finding creative ways to deliver events, and a track record of staying on budget.
- A knack for dealing with change and ambiguity. You're high-energy, enterprising and calm in the face of a storm.
