Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Studio Associate to join our team! As a Studio Associate, you will provide crafting instructions and assist customers with their needs to ensure an excellent crafting experience. Responsibilities may include workshop trainings, working with the register, stocking shelves, processing inventory, processing craft products, and maintaining the store’s appearance. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and knowledge of cash register operation.
Responsibilities:
- Greet each customer with a smile and provide assistance while they are in the studio.
- Provide workshop trainings and crafting guidance to customers.
- Work at a register to ring up and collect payments by cash and credit card.
- Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.
- Take responsibility for stocking, inventory, and store maintenance.
- Finish craft pieces on behalf of the customers.
- Develop and maintain solid knowledge in order to best help customers with their crafting experiences.
Qualifications:
- Age of 16+
- Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively.
- Understanding of best practices in customer service.
- Willingness to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to quickly and accurately work a register.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
