The Senior Visual Design Lead for Amazon Fashion will work on the conceptualization and execution of all visual creative content for Amazon Fashion, from initial design concepts to final on-site execution. This covers the entire gamut of on-site communication with the customer. S/he will co-own and be responsible for the visual identity of Amazon Fashion. S/he will define the visual language, create design concepts for each season, work on photo shoots to create the necessary imagery, and finally create the graphics that will be the storefront for Amazon Fashion to the customers. This is a fast-paced role with an abundance of creative freedom. A creative powerhouse with a strategic mindset and endless creative energy are all key to being successful in this role. Key job responsibilitiesWe are looking for a Visual Design Lead to produce and oversee creative design solutions for A.in Fashion & Beauty. To be successful in this role, the candidate should have in-depth knowledge of graphic design, styles, and layout techniques. They should also have experience executing creative design projects from conception to production, including UI/UX, mobile & website design, print & packaging, etc. Ultimately, they should ensure the design team promotes our brand through delivering high-quality pieces on tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:Oversee all design projects, from conception to deliveryCreate design style guides and original graphics for any small- and large-scale A.in projectsPlan and coordinate shoots as per project requirementsReview junior designers’ work to ensure high-quality outputGenerate ideas to deliver as propositions as per the briefContinuously enhance & improve customer experience on A.in Fashion & Beauty through designMaintain brand consistency throughout all our projectsLiaise with marketing, category, and creative teams to ensure deadlines are metStay up-to-date with industry developments and toolsTrack metrics and data to continuously improve on creative projects
Minimum Requirements:8+ years of design experienceHave an available online portfolioExperience art directing motion designers, illustrators, writers, and content creatorsExperience partnering with technical partners for design implementationKnowledge of marketing fundamentals and ability to implement them to create dynamic advertising solutionsKnowledge of typographic and brand design principlesA keen awareness of current trends in fashion, design, and communicationExcellent communication (written and verbal) and confident presentation skillsUnderstanding of Brand visual identity/designThe ability to utilize data-driven insights in developing design strategyStrong project management and organizational skills with the ability to lead, supervise and execute production projects from concept through delivery.
