Responsibilities:
CRO/”Product” Management:
Work with Rev Ops for on-page featured placement changes for stronger on-page monetization, higher conversion rates, and more leads/revenue.
Run point on all communications regarding analytics/performance with sales teams. Aid them with resources to better monetize content with new and existing affiliate partners.
Liaise between edit and sales when updating best-of lists on content to maximize conversion potential and revenue on page.
Work with digital experiences to ideate, push, track, and implement changes on a page via AB tests.
SEO Strategy/Project Management:
Guide SEO Execs and Specialists in working hand-in-hand with edit to evangelize SEO in the content creation process, build content calendars, create new content, and update existing pieces.
Work with formatting and compliance to QA content and push through production.
Evangelize the creation of new features to enhance SEO on-site through the product/development process.
Work in partnership with the Sr. SEO manager and two Jr. SEOs to build out the editorial roadmaps.
Lead a team of two Jr. SEOs in managing your verticals and fostering their career growth.
In hand with the Sr. SEO manager and sales/BD teams, identify and implement opportunities to derive more revenue from individual pages through CRO strategy and A/B test analysis and implementation.
Conduct detailed keyword research to find the most relevant and effective terms/phrases with the highest ROI.
Analyse high-performing competitor domains to provide insight and opportunities for future growth.
Optimize current content including the title tag and meta description, headers, and copy through robust content briefs to improve ranking and internal linking improvements.
Compile backlink analysis to assist the SEO team with outreach opportunities.
Run site crawls, build templates, and construct data visuals for tracking, analyzing, implementing, and reporting on site updates that drive positive change.
Monitor and analyze overall site performance including rankings and conversion.
About You:
At least 3-4 years of SEO experience.
Experience managing direct reports (even if at the intern level).
Experience with on-page SEO including keyword research, competitive analysis, internal linking, and content briefs.
Experience with off-page SEO - you’ve worked on outreach projects before and have sourced relevant external web pages.
Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) and working with sales to identify and implement opportunities to grow conversion rate and revenue.
Experience with data analysis – you’re very data-oriented and able to use data to support the strategies you pitch to implement on-site.
You’ve used SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMRush, GSC, Google Analytics, STAT, SEOMonitor, ScreamingFrog, and others.
Working knowledge of technical SEO elements such as schema, canonicals, and site speed.
Have a passion for continued learning and staying up to date on industry news.
Skilled in time management and working autonomously – you’re able to take action where and when needed (based on data analysis) without requiring specific instruction.
Knowledge and experience with WordPress and other CMS.
Experience within the finance industry, and preferably in banking.
