Overview
Our client, a leader in financial tax software, is looking to hire a Public Relations Manager. This is a fully remote role that will align with PST time zones.
*This job is a 4-month W2 contract role with benefits & paid holidays!*
As a Public Relations Manager, you will work across the Corporate PR team to develop and implement integrated communication plans, support cross-company PR alignment through various touchpoints, drive corporate speaking and awards programs, support media relations research and outreach, deliver executive briefing documents, and drive quarterly, weekly, and ad-hoc reporting.
Responsibilities
- Draft communications materials such as briefing docs, speaking and award abstracts, media alerts/pitches, integrated communications plans, and reports.
- Drive the corporate speaking program, including managing employee requests and the internal approval process, approval for vendor endorsement requests, and gathering feedback/refining the process as needed.
- Maintain a list of awards, surveys, and rankings that matter most, based on agreed-upon principles.
- Lead the awards submission process from end to end, bringing in necessary teams and individuals to contribute and amplify.
- Support PR team with media outreach, scheduling and coordinating media interviews and responses to media inquiries.
- Monitor media coverage across all team pillars and prepare reports on media activity.
- Conduct research on AI, technology, and business trends, competitors, and other relevant topics.
- Partner with PR agency on weekly and quarterly measurement and reporting efforts.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Public Relations, across both in-house and third-party agencies.
- Working knowledge of Mailchimp, LexisNexis, and SurveyMonkey.
- Prior experience in the SaaS, Cloud, or FinTech industry preferred!
