Primary Services is seeking a UI/UX Designer to support a leading retail company’s digital presence. This role is responsible for designing and producing engaging digital assets for e-commerce platforms, ensuring a seamless and visually compelling user experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital design, a strong portfolio, and proficiency in design software.
Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day digital production for e-commerce platforms.
- Adapt creative assets from in-house and external teams to align with branding and site specifications.
- Design layouts and prototypes in collaboration with merchandising and marketing teams to support seasonal promotions and campaigns.
- Enhance customer experience across web and mobile platforms using existing templates and new visual solutions.
- Translate business and marketing objectives into compelling and visually engaging digital designs.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams to align creative direction with business goals.
- Present and explain design decisions, providing insight into the creative thought process.
- Ensure consistency across all digital channels.
- Incorporate insights from previous work to optimize future designs.
- Maintain a high standard of excellence in digital design, typography, illustration, photography, and web accessibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI, graphic design, digital design, digital art/media, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing digital design projects for websites and mobile applications.
- Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Familiarity with content management systems.
- Working knowledge of web accessibility requirements (WCAG).
