Our group, the Joint Defense Support Group within SPA’s Sea Land Air (SLA) Division, supports the Surface community and components of the US Navy by providing program management, requirements management, force development, and readiness support in Washington DC and fleet areas. We offer strategic assessments, planning, and operational support to maritime communities and allied navies. We are trusted by senior leadership and play key roles in addressing national security challenges.
Immediate Need
SPA seeks a Graphic Designer to support OPNAV N1 Commander's Action Group (CAG).
Responsibilities
- Prepare formal technical drawings, graphics, and illustrations supporting strategy, operations, and functions.
- Format and layout support for MyNavy HR Enterprise publications.
- Creative copywriting, editing, layout, proofreading, and scriptwriting.
- Develop original creative concepts and storylines from concept to product.
- Support other CAG client needs, including communications planning and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Arts, Graphic Design, or related field.
- 5 years of relevant experience in multimedia projects, graphics, and illustrations using Adobe Suite or PowerPoint.
- SECRET clearance with ability to maintain it.
- In-office support required.

- Knowledge of Navy manpower and personnel programs.
