Piping Designer (Industrial) – Lakeland, FL  Location: Lakeland, FL 33811 Pay: ~ +/- $43--$50/hr (DOE) Long-term, Full-Tim career opportunity Schedule: Monday-Thursday (9-hour days) + Half-Day Fridays (Flexible Start Times) About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Piping Designer to join a dynamic engineering team supporting industrial plant projects. In this role, you will play a key part in designing mechanical and piping systems, utilizing AutoCAD Plant 3D to create detailed models and drawings. If you have strong industrial experience and a passion for precision, we’d love to hear from you! What You’ll Do: 3D Modeling & Drafting: Develop detailed piping and equipment models using Plant 3D. P&ID & Process Flow Development: Generate P&IDs and Process Flow Diagrams. 2D & Isometric Drawings: Convert 3D models into orthographic and isometric piping details. Industry Standards Compliance: Design per ASTM, ANSI, OSHA, API, and PIP standards. Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, construction teams, and suppliers to finalize designs. 3D Scanning & Point Cloud: Assist in capturing existing conditions for design accuracy. What You Bring: 5+ years of experience in Piping Design for industrial applications. Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D (Must-have). Strong knowledge of piping/mechanical systems in industrial settings (chemical, petrochemical, fertilizer, power, or petroleum terminals).
