As a Marketing & Showroom Associate, you’ll play a key role in bringing our tranquil and intentional brand experience to life—both in our showroom and across our digital platforms. You will be the welcoming face of our brand and a creative voice behind the scenes. This hybrid role blends hospitality, operations, and creative storytelling to build a meaningful connection between Senbird and our community. This position reports to the Marketing team but works cross-functionally with Operations and Sales. As a Marketing & Showroom Associate, you will: Showroom & Customer Experience (50%)
Greet and assist showroom guests, offering a warm, welcoming experience Prepare and serve purchased drinks; offer complimentary tea to clients and team Manage checkouts, appointments, incoming calls with care and professionalism Maintain a tidy, well-stocked showroom and retail inventory Share tea knowledge with visitors to support education and sales Monitor and respond to Google reviews Support with interview scheduling, meetings, and occasional errands Content & Brand Engagement (50%)
Capture and create content (photo/video) for social media Support in managing and scheduling social posts to grow and engage followers Assist in planning, coordinating, and hosting in-person events and community gatherings Represent Senbird at pop-ups, collaborations, and community events Support the Sales and Operations team with project work by ordering supplies, updating calendars, filming content, engaging on social media, and more Contribute to storytelling through customer experiences and behind-the-scenes moments WHO YOU ARE

Friendly, welcoming, and able to put others at ease Strong organizational and communication skills Enthusiastic about Japanese culture and tea Proactive, dependable, and detail-oriented Creative with a curious mindset and a willingness to learn Comfortable engaging with customers, creating content, and managing small projects Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Passionate about creating a positive, inclusive space for all Bonus points if you have experience in hospitality, content creation, or community events. This is a growing role with long-term potential. As a Marketing & Showroom Associate, you'll gain hands-on experience across marketing, hospitality, and community engagement. Over time, you'll have the opportunity to grow into brand experience leadership as our team expands--shaping content, events, and customer experiences in more impactful ways. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
1–2 years of experience in a customer-facing or administrative role such as retail, hospitality, or studio/showroom coordination Comfortable preparing and serving drinks, handling checkouts, and supporting event logistics Experience or interest in creating content for social media (photo, video, or behind-the-scenes capture) Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage calendars, supplies, and appointments Clear and friendly communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team A warm, thoughtful presence and a desire to create meaningful experiences Passion for Japanese tea and culture is a strong plus! Location: Long Island City, Queens (In-person, 4 days per week, 10am-3:30pm)
