We are looking for a Senior Architect to join our team for a long-term contract in Atlanta, GA (hybrid). Contract Duration: 12 Months Required Skills & Experience Strong UX Experience working in a high-pressure environment Building user experience for large ecommerce platforms Strong experience with Figma Knowledge of UI frameworks like Angular and React Strong communication and negotiation skills to align stakeholders 6+ years of experience required A portfolio exhibiting strong UX and visual design skills Creative and customer-focused problem solver Ability to manage needs and priorities of multiple teams and stakeholders Demonstrable expertise with the latest versions of HTML and CSS Hands-on experience designing accessible products and working knowledge of WCAG guidelines Experience contributing to UI Kits and Design Systems from both a design and front-end development perspective Experience working with an agile team Experience or desire to learn authoring content management systems, like AEM. What You Will Be Doing Assess business requirements and technology alternatives. Build multi-platform technology consensus across business units. Implement new technologies in small and medium scale environments. Design application's technical infrastructure, such as specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches. Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product. Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design. Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers. Evaluate and/or pilot new technologies. Contribute to the development of business cases. Construct program flow charts to describe the processing of data and development of precise steps and processing logic across all platforms. Determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications. Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc. Approve final product before launch. Take responsibility for the functional design and architecture of application systems across all technologies and platforms. Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility. Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards.
