Overview
One of our gaming and entertainment clients is looking for a Creative Operations Project Manager who is responsible for the information flow, process development, and workload management within the Creative Operations Department. This may include external communication with necessary vendors and partners. This role monitors the progression of creative projects, obtains approvals from stakeholders, and delivers final creative products to Production. The Creative Ops Project Manager also works cross-functionally with Leadership, Sales, Production, and Marketing to ensure all creative projects meet target deadlines and brand standards.
Core Responsibilities Include:
Track, assess, and manage art development for new games by obtaining stakeholder approvals and handing off deliverables by given deadlines.
Manage artists and designers, assign tasks, and assist in prioritization of workload.
Develop and optimize processes and workflows for new game development when applicable.
Identify key milestones, build timelines, and monitor creative project lifecycles.
Work closely with the Senior Director of Creative Operations and Leadership to determine department objectives, align on project prioritization, and escalate issues when necessary.
Obtain final executive approvals for new game art assets before handing off files to production.
Proactively identify and mitigate roadblocks in the creative process.
Work in tandem with Production and Localization to approve art assets and physical samples, ensuring all products meet high quality control standards.
Foster collaborative communication in order for cross-functional teams to accurately execute their tasks.
Report and escalate project progress, scope, changes/concerns and or risks on a weekly basis and in real time as they occur in order to ensure timely course correction.
Present weekly creative updates to Leadership, collect feedback, and provide action items to the Creative Operations team.

Skills and Requirements
Role must be in office 2x a week (TUES and WED - 1800 Vine Street Los Angeles)
4+ years of experience in an agile, creative environment with strong project management skills
Ability to juggle a high volume of projects often managing up to 10 new game projects as well as ancillary tasks
Exceptional change management skills, including the ability to implement strategies, disseminate information, and helping team members adapt to changing project scope and goals
Passion for organization, art, and process improvement
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to problem solve and prioritize workloads
Detail-oriented with a positive, flexible attitude
Proficiency in Google Suite and a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Strong skills in team leadership and people management - 2+ years of experience with Wrike - Project Management Software null
