Position Description
Provide technical, administrative and data support for Human Resources regarding data, and software support, serving as the technical and administrative liaison as well as serving as the department reports writer. Serves as the HRIS subject matter expert providing data entry, maintenance, mapping, data implementation, trainer, report writer, data updater and infrastructure management for the various HR/Payroll systems, NeoEd, CROA and other applicable platforms. Provide data reports for annual reporting for Human Resources and the institution. Position Responsibilities
1. Provides technical, data entry, training and administrative support of all facets of the various HR and payroll employee/payroll databases and reports. Serves as primary source for first level implementation, technical advice, guidance, and support to HR/payroll personnel in the utilization of Colleague, CROA, NeoEd, Google and other HR/payroll software applications or applicable systems. 2. Identifies and directs implementation needs, assess issues and problem solve as necessary independently or in consultation with consultants and/or internal personnel to maintain and update the data and reports. 3. Researches recommendations or solutions for implementation, improvements and strategies to ensure a robust platform for employee data tracking and salary tracking needs. 4. Tests, supports and maintains modifications, utilities and tools associated with the software/reports implementation for HR with special focus on the HR Modules and CROA modules. In addition to support software for advertising, reporting and electronic storage of employee and salary data. 5. Oversees the data programing and management needs including data maintenance, auditing, reporting, corrections and data purges; as necessary. 6. In collaboration with the HR team assists in the accurate documentation of business requirements, process narratives, training materials and process flows. As well, as assists with project planning, scheduling, communication and implementation activities for systems upgrades or regular database management. 7. Provide and submit reports for HR data requests working with Institutional Research and other constituents around campus. 8. Submit required reports and data analysis regularly while updating and maintain the data files and reports. 9. Manage NEOEd job posting systems and the applicants through EUJobs.com 10. Serves as liaison between Human Resources and both internal and external constituents to provide systems support and management of the various software packages. 11. Manages and oversee report-writing requests as well as serve as the lead to transfer reports from current system platforms to Colleague, CROA and/or other established platforms. Analyzes and creates reports as needed to support the maintenance of employee records, data retention, audits, etc. 12. Work with the CHRO to advance the HR data from a paper to electronic format. 13. Assist fellow colleagues and team members with training as needs arise. 14. Manage data entry and file migration for employee records in the Colleague system. 15. Oversees methods of migrating paper files to an electronic tracking format for employee employment records. 16. In collaboration with HR personnel, Network Services and payroll assists with data reporting and uploads for end of the year reporting needs such as ACA tracking annual survey reporting needs, etc. 17. Assist in implementing and maintain an electronic storage filing system for employee records; 18. Maintain current knowledge for the technical components associated with programing, upgrades and systems migration. 19. Serve as the Train the Trainer lead for software implementation communication and updates including but not limited to generating and updating training manuals, creating and updating videos, hosting meetings and information sessions. 20. Assist internal personnel with providing data reports as needed. 21. Embodies values of caring and compassion, justice and integrity, competence and affirmation. 22. Other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications
BS degree or equivalent technical education and experience. 2 to 4 years' general knowledge of common human resources practices and employment laws and regulations, Proficient knowledge in current computer hardware and software: At least 2 to 4 years' experience with an HRIS system. Previous experience with proficient knowledge in Ellucian and/or Colleague ideally. Past experience working closely with Payroll. Strong communication and multi-tasking skills. Ability to work quickly, under pressure and to maintain tight deadlines. Excellent attention to detail, good problem solving skills and analytical skills. Ability to work well in a team and support the Christian values and mission of the University.

Adjunct faculty may be eligible for medical coverage under the ACA after an annual one year lookback review.
Part-time staff who are scheduled to work less than 30 hours per week schedule are eligible for employer contribution towards the retirement plan after one year of employment. Eligibility rules apply. Adjunct faculty may make employee deferral contributions towards the retirement plan.
Part-Time Graduate Assistant Coaches are eligible for participation in the Tuition Remission Coaches Program.
Temporary, Contractors and Seasonal Employees: Individuals in this status are scheduled on an as-needed-basis and are not eligible for participation in the University's benefits programs.
