We are seeking an experienced communications program manager to lead communications content development and delivery across our internal and external platforms and the full scope of our organization's focus areas.
Description
As a seasoned expert in communications, you will support the development of content for our internal and external communications platforms, including apple.com, our internal website, our annual public reporting products, executive presentations, event communications and management, and more. The ideal candidate strikes a balance between strategy and execution. This includes strategic planning for the creation and delivery of content including major annual website refreshes and day-to-day communications across internal and external channels. You will collaborate deeply within the team, integrating key communications priorities into the deliverables you lead, as well as work closely with key partner organizations including Public Relations, Operations, Environment, Policy, and Social Initiatives, Government Affairs, Marketing Communications, and technical experts across the company. Your work will serve many audiences, including our employees, customers, suppliers and their employees, and the media. Success will depend on being able to internalize and strategically communicate deeply technical content across many issue areas, while also understanding the reach of our business, and telling the story of our work to support people and the environment across our global supply chain.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of relevant experience BA/BS degree in communication, marketing, design, writing, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to develop effective creative strategies and lead others in executing against them Expert at building and maintaining strong relationships in deeply cross-functional environments Confidence in working with technical source material, and interest and capacity to quickly engage with new subject matter areas, including labor and human rights, responsible materials sourcing, and environmental initiatives (e.g., decarbonization, circular supply chains, chemical management, and more). Able to manage a dynamic communications environment, flexing to address evolving priorities Passion for creating values-driven content Experience with sustainability reporting, subject matter areas, and related industry trends Experience managing editorial voice and consistency across a portfolio of work that includes multiple media and audiences Comfortable leading content reviews for technical experts and executives Ability to operate and collaborate at all levels of the organization, including working directly with senior executives Can flex between understanding and shaping the big picture, to focusing on the tiniest of details Skilled in leading complex projects and accomplishing work through others Advanced experience with content management systems, graphic design and presentation production processes and principles, and photography and filmmaking workflows Limited domestic and international travel as needed
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
