About The Role
The Motion Graphics Designer is responsible for the creation, development and deployment of designs, animations, and real-time graphics at a high proficiency level. This position provides creative support for daily production and long-range assignments, contributes to group projects, and frequently works independently on assignments. This is a hands-on position requiring individuals who possess strong conceptualization skills, the ability to offer unique creative solutions, change direction easily, push their creativity and software skills to higher levels, exploit new technology, and actively communicate on all phases of a project to maintain the quality of the Arctic Wolf Managed Security Awareness content. The Motion Graphics Designer is a high-level creative who is expected to help set the bar on quality and creativity. The ideal candidate is experienced with multimedia motion, motion graphics and animation, as well as able to assist with video production and editing.
Responsibilities
- Create animated content for use in external video and e-Learning content
- Planning and executing 2D and some 3D motion graphics, character animation, video and audio editing/production
- Execute high quality graphics packages based on existing designs or style-guide
- Design and support internal clients with infographics and static graphics to illustrate ideas
- Clearly communicate ideas through visuals
- Collaborating with creative team and other internal teams
- Demonstrate strong understanding and regular use of effective type layout
- Actively involved with the conceptual development of design initiatives within the MSA Content Team department
- Expected to consistently strive to stretch the boundaries of Arctic Wolf design
- Displays ability to research and answer technical questions with respect to design/animation techniques or systems in use
- Ensure all work conforms to technical requirements and file organization standards
About You
- Degree in Animation, Graphic Design, or Media-related field and/or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Intermediate to Expert levels in Adobe CC After Effects, Premier Pro, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Cinema4D, and other creative software.
- Experience in animated motion graphics and creating storyboards/storytelling
- Strong visual design fundamentals including motion graphics, composition, hierarchy, color theory, typography
- Able to work independently, as well as collaborate with others
- Attention to design detail and quality
- Ability to organize information
- Knowledge of current design trends in graphic design and typography
