Overview
We’re looking for internet culture geeks, meme aficionados, TikTok natives, who love staying on top of the latest cultural phenomenon to inspire and create cool s***.
As part of a new and growing team of creators, you’ll collaboratively ideate, concept and execute (including shooting and editing) social-first content for exciting brands. The emphasis will be on lo-fi social content and TikTok in particular, but ultimately, we’re looking for creative, out-of-the-box thinkers prized to break the internet and trades.
In addition to the team of creators, you’ll work alongside social strategists and creatives to ensure quality and consistency with brand personality and ambitions. You’ll also join a weekly culture briefing meeting and be expected to highlight trends relevant to a specific brand or audience that showed up in your fyp or feed that week as inspiration. This team’s emphasis is as much on trend mining as it is content creation, therefore you should enjoy having your finger on the pulse of emerging opportunities for a brand to participate in and help shape culture.
You will be the primary owner and creator of social content while also applying your expertise to incorporate the latest lo-fi trends, filters, sounds, and formats into your approach. The work will range in application across organic social, paid campaigns, media activations, and beyond.
Must be located in San Francisco, CA or Los Angles, CA surrounding area

You’re obsessed with internet culture, the latest memes and trends, online subcultures and communities
You’re excited and inspired by the world of social media - the first to share among colleagues and friends the latest trends, effects, tracks, etc. on TikTok.
You’re a creative and clever content creator with experience in video production and editing for social media.
You’re a storyteller who can make captivating content across all platforms that ranges from educational to emotional and everything in between.
Hands on, get it done, make cool sh*t mentality.
Collaborative and a team player
You bring a sense of humor and charm to the work you create.
You have experience translating big ideas and brand campaigns into social content and/or leveraging social trends and insights to inform both.
You’re interested in and understand Gen-Z culture.
Responsibilities
Concept and execute all content for clients with ranging applications.
Participate and inform weekly Culture Briefing
Partner with creative team and social strategists to make sure content is not only relevant, native to platform, but on-brand.
Stay on top of ever-changing internet trends or other relevant conversations in the social space.
Ideate, film, edit and write post-copy to support content.
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in video content creation for social media at a consumer-facing brand or agency or similar experience.
Strong understanding of opportunities and limitations of all popular social platforms.
Keen eye for design/art direction/leveraging props and styling.
Collaborative work ethic.
Experience creating various types of content from product shots to storytelling.
Mid-level Experience shooting and lighting video content and still photography.
Mandatory: proficient with editing software, both in app and Premiere.
Nice to have: Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, AfterEffects, and Illustrator.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, coordinating multiple projects simultaneously with hard deadlines.
Demonstrated ability in adapting brand voices and visual identities to videos.
Ability to manage projects from ideation to production, through post-production and delivery.
Good presentation skills.

Compensation Range: $61-100/hr. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
