The Senior Experience Designer provides user-centered interaction and visual design methodology to improve the usability, ease of use, and enhance appeal, and maximize functionality provided through the interaction between the customer and a product or service, addressing all aspects of a product or service as perceived by users.This Senior Experience Designer is a part of a midsized, maturing UXD team made up of research and design associates. Each member or small team is aligned to a single OCLC product.Who You Are:

Think in systems.Explore different ways to solve problems while identifying pros and cons, questions and/or implicationsHighly competent using Figma and Miro softwareHigh proficiency creating UX deliverables such as wireframes, user flows, user journeys, sitemaps, personas, high fidelity designs, Figma prototypes, etc.Working knowledge of responsive design and related best practicesKeeps current with design trends and best practicesComfortable working both remote and onsiteComfortable engaging with internal and external customers, reflecting OCLC valuesHave experience moderating user testingAbility to design for accessibility, familiarity with WCAG 2.xExperience running ideation sessionsWhat You'll Do:
Connect key groups of people, Research, Experience, Business teams to deliver the work and socialize itCreate detailed UI designs with accessibility in mind and collaborate with engineers to bring it to life.Collaborate with UXD researcher on research plan, stakeholder interviews, user interviews, etc.Conduct and moderate usability testing for your assigned projectsRun workshop and ideation sessions with key stakeholdersWork through design problems from concept to launch translating research insights into ideas that form disruptive new products and featuresDesign workflows and detailed interactive prototype to communicate the idea to stakeholders.Please present your portfolio with your application. Bachelor's Degree in responsive design, visual design, or related field5+ years of experience with responsive design and related best practices as well as with designing enterprise web applications.5+ years of experience creating UX deliverables such as wireframes, user flows, user journeys, sitemaps, personas, high fidelity designs, Figma prototypes, etc.Highly competent using Figma, Miro, Microsoft office software.Working Conditions:
