A high volume of applicants is expected for the role as detailed below, do not wait to send your CV.Essential Duties:Establish marketing and communications plans in support of strategic initiatives or services, notable accomplishments and issues of major importance. Work with clinical chairmen, physician leaders, executives and department leadership to ensure plans meet stated goals and are integrated utilizing all applicable marketing channels.Execute plans and ensure work is timely and on target. This involves tracking work via a project management system, internal meetings and conversations with other department divisions. Ensure cross-channel work is completed on schedule, budget and on strategy.Draft, review and manage budget. This will be from start to finish: Negotiating price and parameters, securing contract and ensuring work comes in on target. The Senior Director will engage with team members and external counsel for month-to-month reconciliation.Collaborate with clinical and operations partners. Establish trusted relationships built on quality execution of work and curiosity around their areas of service. Conduct standing meetings with key customers/clients and provide updates and results on their plans. Represent the organization, where appropriate, at external committees and other related work groups.Analyze, interpret and act on data in order to ensure plans are on target, work functions appropriately and revisions are recast, based on results. Set and establish outcome measures to evaluate the overall marketing programs. Utilize data to increase efficiency of the team. Embrace quality improvement to balance output and results. Utilize the department CRM for data and analysis as well as ensuring automated campaigns are integrated appropriately into plans.Lead staff in establishing office-wide and individual priorities. Hire, mentor, train and supervise staff. Ensure team has sufficient education and other growth opportunities. Develop policies and division infrastructure for staff to carry out projects effectively and efficiently.Executes other duties as assigned or requested. The organization reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.Required Qualifications:Req Bachelors degree in communications, journalism, public relations or a related field.Req 10 years Experience in marketing or related field (preferably in health marketing background).Req Experience interpreting market and business data, with the ability to apply this information to the development, implementation, measurement and evaluation of marketing programs.Req Thorough knowledge and / or experience with communication, marketing, advertising, promotional and public relations practices.Req Ability to work with diverse groups and organizations required. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills required. Attention to detail.Req Strong project management, organization and planning skills.Req Effective leadership skills as well as the ability to be a team player.Req High-level of professionalism.Req Ability to exercise sound judgment under pressure.Req Must be accessible after hours in the event of crisis/emergency situations to assist department colleagues.Preferred Qualifications:Pref Master's degree in communications, journalism, public relations or a related field.Pref 5 years Progressively responsible staff supervision experience.Required Licenses/Certifications:Req Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)The annual base salary range for this position is $158,080.00 - $260,832.00.
