The Marketing Specialist in Communications will be responsible for developing content strategy based on our company's or client's objectives and end user's needs, overseeing content requirements, and creating content strategy deliverables across a project life cycle. This role is pivotal in improving our brand's presence and engagement through insightful, creative, and impactful content across all digital platforms.
Position Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following;Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with the company's strategic goals, including increasing digital presence, engagement, and converting leads into customers.Collaborate with marketing, sales, and design teams to plan and develop site content, style, and layout.Analyze content marketing data to identify trends and anticipate customer needs.Create and implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns. Other areas include press releases, feature articles and brochure copy.Produce engaging content for our website, blog, social media accounts, and newsletters that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.Optimize content according to SEO best practices and conduct keyword research to guide content teams.Revise, edit, and proofread content as needed.Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of content and marketing strategies in achieving organizational objectives and KPIs.Plan and manage tradeshows.Help to drive the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, driving collaboration with the stakeholders and leveraging the right internal processes.Collect and analyze consumer behavior data (e.g. web traffic and rankings, email CTR, LinkedIn posting effectiveness)Understands Voice of Customer (VOC) and empathizes with customer's product pain points and unmet product needs.
Position RequirementsA bachelor's degree in marketing or communications is required, master's degree preferred1-3 years of digital/content marketing or similar work.Knowledge in the health care/ medical industry preferred.Competence as a creative writer with an eye for great emails, landing pages and content development.Strong project management skillsDemonstrated proficiency with content writing, social media applications, such as LinkedIn and TwitterPossess search engines, web analytics, and business research tools acumenAdequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc.)Strong communication and presentation skillsSolid computer skills, including MS Excel, InDesign, Illustrator, Web analytics, Survey MonkeyAbility to travel as necessary.
