Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Work closely with the digital content team to create high-impact, conversation-driving social media content in support of programming and commercial initiatives• Coordinate creative execution for vertical video programming on TikTok and Instagram Reels• Collaborate with team members in management and growth on CHSN social accounts, such as but not limited to X, Instagram, etc.• Align with the production/digital team for on-set social capture, live social media event coverage, digital activations, influencer activations, etc.• Develop and execute impactful synergy and integrated marketing executions with strategic brand partners including the Bulls, Blackhawks, and White Sox• Foster and build excellent working relationships with talent and producers, including educating on social media best practices and building mutually beneficial content relationships
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:• BA/BS• 1-2+ years of social media marketing/content creation experience• Deep understanding of social platforms• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines with a team-first mentality• Strong creative writing skills• Effective communication skills in both verbal and written form• Extreme attention to detail• Experience with social media content management systems• Ability to work a varied, non-standard schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays• Open to travel as required to direct content capture opportunities on set, in the field and at events
The Chicago Sports Network (CHSN) will launch in October across multiple platforms. The network will air more than 300 live Blackhawks, Bulls and White Sox games annually and include pre- and postgame coverage while showing multisport programming 24 hours a day. CHSN will broadcast from studios located in both Chicago's United Center and Guaranteed Rate Field. The network will start airing Blackhawks and Bulls preseason games in October, showing White Sox games beginning in 2025.
