As a key member of a top UX Product Design team, you'll be shaping the future of self-service experiences for a Fortune 500 insurance leader, partnering with Aquent. As a UX Product Designer on this team, you'll be immersed in a dynamic and collaborative environment, working closely with content designers, product owners, and engineers. You'll tackle intricate design challenges, championing the user's perspective throughout the agile development process. Your insights will be crucial in crafting innovative solutions that not only meet user needs but also exceed expectations. Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week Duration: 12 months Location: Remote (East Coast Hours) What You'll Do:
Collaborate within a dispersed agile team, participating in daily stand-ups and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders. Deconstruct complex product requirements and design intuitive solutions that address both user and business needs. Actively participate in user research, concept testing, and usability testing to refine and optimize designs based on real user feedback. Ensure a seamless user experience across multiple projects and work streams, collaborating with other teams to maintain consistency. Effectively communicate design decisions to a diverse range of stakeholders, from finance to business subject matter experts. Must-Haves:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years of UX/product design experience. Proven experience with Agile, Design Thinking, Lean UX, and human-centered design methodologies. Strong proficiency in FIGMA. Expertise in at least two of the following disciplines, with familiarity in the others: visual design, UX design, prototyping, information architecture, front-end development, user research. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior management. Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to translate complex information into user flows and diagrams. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. An online portfolio showcasing relevant UX work and case studies. Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with insurance claims.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $52.59 to $60 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
