This role will build and execute marketing automation programs in Pardot, inclusive of emails, nurture programs, lead scoring updates, landing pages as well as list and database management.This particular role will have a heavy emphasis on database management, lead scoring, mitigating sync issues between Pardot and Salesforce, routing, naming conventions, campaign set up, and engagement studio creation. This is a technical role; the candidate will need to be familiar with database health, management, lead scoring, routing, and overall database hygiene.The Senior Marketing Automation Manager will collaborate with several different teams across the business on various marketing campaigns, lead acceleration strategy, and campaign implementation. This individual will execute programs and report on metrics to ensure proper database management, lead flow, routing, and progression.ResponsibilitiesThis is a highly specialized role that requires deep knowledge of marketing automation systems and CRMs
Manage lead scoring, database health, routing, and ensure that leads properly pass from Pardot to Salesforce
Build and deploy complex Pardot engagement studios with a focus on nurturing leads with the right message at the right time and ensuring that they get to Sales
Acts as the technical operations lead for the Marketing Automation team
Identify issues between systems and take quick action to fix inconsistencies
Be able to dissect data, have a strong knowledge of routing rules, and campaign set up best practices
Collaborates with the Data Orchestration, Salesforce, and Sales teams to drive ensure proper routing
Leads database governance for the team, ensuring rules and regulations are followed, standards of excellence are implemented, and consistent processes are followed
Work with Revenue Marketing stakeholders to meet expected deadlines, communicate effectively, and manage a queue of work
Deploy email testing; improve open rate, CTR, engagement, and conversion
Collaborate with other team members on Pardot best practices, email design, testing, and audience segmentation
Stay current with industry standards related to spam compliance and data privacy regulations
Support business stakeholders with list acquisition as needed
Support system and data migration projects as needed
Job RequirementsAt least 5-8 years of marketing experience, especially in email marketing and database management
Extensive knowledge of Pardot and Salesforce set up, lead routing, scoring, and campaign naming best practices
Extensive knowledge of Pardot, HTML, CSS, and Salesforce
Experience identifying issues, dissecting data, and fixing routing, scoring, or syncing errors
Experience and knowledge in segmentation, data structure, and database health
SaaS startup mindset: Used to fast pace and being part of a Shared Service for a larger marketing team
Demonstrates self-leadership
Exceptional people skills with the ability to work well with others and guide recommendations
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Experience with payments, point of sale, ecommerce, or SaaS preferred
