Own the local go-to-market product marketing strategy for Municipal Water/Wastewater and Irrigation products including value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy.Support the sales in the local market by providing product and technical support to sales teams including trainings and key customer pursuits.Create demand through technical promotion, providing solutions and a value-based selling approach with expert-level knowledge of products and competitors offerings.Understand customer needs in the local market by building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.Prepare business plans focused on business development for the Municipal Water/Wastewater and Irrigation market and implement Division market pricing policy.Your Background
Bachelor’s degree (Business, Communications, Engineering or Marketing preferred) and minimum 8 years of related experience in a complex business environment ORAssociate degree (Business, Communications, Engineering or Marketing preferred) and 10 years of related experience in a complex business environment ORHigh School/GED and 12 years of related experience in a complex business environment required.Experience with product sales or customer relationship management highly preferred.Experience in the Municipal Water/Wastewater field, Irrigation and (or) Variable Frequency Drive technology with solid understanding of channel and segmented sales model highly preferred.Travel up to 25 to 30 percent required.Candidates must have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the USA.More About Us
