About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic self-starter to join Odevo as a Commercial Insurance Producer. You will help us scale our in-house retail agency that provides niche insurance offerings to clients under Odevo management. Our clients consist of homeowners’ associations, mid-size condo associations, and large high-rise associations across the US with a wide array of insurance needs. You will have access to Odevo’s expansive network of association clients and will be responsible for driving new business sales and growing existing client revenue through retention and cross-sell opportunities. You will act as a consultative partner to our clients, working with direct carriers, MGAs, wholesale brokers, and our account management team to construct comprehensive insurance programs with best-in-class customer service. You will play a critical role in establishing our portfolio-wide Insurance sales and marketing strategy and will have opportunities to grow into more senior Sales Management roles as Odevo continues its own growth trajectory.Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities for new business, starting with Odevo’s property management client base.Establish and maintain strong new client relationships.Meet with clients to understand their insurance needs.Analyze client's existing insurance coverage and provide recommendations for products and coverage.Work closely with the account management team to generate quotes and develop comprehensive and competitive offerings for prospective clients.Present quotes to clients, explaining coverage, terms, and conditions.Close sales and manage the entire sales process, ensuring accurate and efficient documentation.Support and prepare clients for renewal, as well as identify and close potential cross-sell opportunities.Stay informed on industry trends, insurance products, and market conditions.Develop and maintain partnerships with insurance carriers and stay informed about their product offerings and appetites.Demonstrate the technical knowledge necessary to communicate our solutions effectively to a non-insurance buyer.

ExperienceProven experience in commercial insurance sales with a successful sales track record.Experience working directly with community associations and HOA boards a strong plus.P&C Insurance producer license required.Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills.Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and coverages.Strong ability to build rapport with clients.Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and quickly change focus while maintaining attention to detail.
