Service Writer
Pay: $70,000 base + commission
Looking for a motivated, high-energy Service Writer to join our Marietta Auto Sales service team. We aim to create a positive workplace that promotes the highest level of customer satisfaction for all service guests. We are looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor interested in working in a productive, safe, and professional environment. The responsibilities of this position include:
- Answering questions from customers and service providers, using your expertise to understand their issues and communicate effectively with staff for satisfactory service delivery.
- Scheduling appointments, processing orders, monitoring service progress, and handling customer complaints.
This is a full-time position with work hours from Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm.
Requirements
- Previous dealership experience is a plus but not required.
- Enthusiastic and energetic throughout the workday.
- Outgoing and friendly, especially when handling objections and writing service orders.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- X-Time experience is preferred but not required.
- DealerTrack experience is preferred but not required.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Writing service orders for customers bringing in boats or calling over the phone.
- Assisting technicians with parts needed for jobs.
- Billing out work orders upon job completion.
- Answering incoming and outgoing customer calls.
- Interacting with customers, listening to their questions and concerns, and providing timely responses.
- Educating clients about the company’s products, services, and offers.
- Following policies and procedures related to cash, credit card, check payments, and closing repair orders.
- Scheduling appointments, taking orders, monitoring service progress, calculating charges, and processing payments.
- Reviewing customer accounts and reporting changes to internal staff.
- Managing complaints, returns, and resolving customer grievances.
- Recording customer details and transactions.
- Serving as a link between customers and departments within the organization.
