- Develop and Execute Content Marketing Plans: Create and implement yearlong overall content marketing plans for corporate and franchise accounts. Collaborate with the graphic design team to produce high-quality collateral and execute monthly strategies for posting seasonal, quarterly, and evergreen content.
- Social Media Management: Develop and implement strategies for Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. Measure important KPIs such as impressions, engagement, and audience size.
- Coordinate and manage social media campaigns and updates for all company social media accounts, on a daily basis, international accounts, blog and YouTube channels, working with outside vendors as needed
- Maintain all social media outlets to include, but not limited to: YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Snapchat
- Monitor all social media outlets to protect brand and interact with followers on a regular basis; work closely with Customer Care team to resolve customer issues through Sprout Social. Provide training and support documents as necessary.
- Work with outside vendor for additional campaigns, as needed
- Develop and implement corporate social media contests as needed
- Stay current on social media and content marketing trends keeping the organization in the forefront of new channels, stories, and technology.
- Corporate Blog Management: Work with web development and technical marketing teams to maintain the corporate blog. Publish multiple blogs, within the style and voice of our brand, each month with the focus on targeting relevant keywords and seasonal content to drive traffic and engagement.
- Provide editing and copy support for local web site content pages.
- Collaborate with content marketing manager, to develop, implement, and measure comprehensive social media strategy for TWO MEN AND A JUNK TRUCK®/ INTERNATIONAL, Inc., integrating general brand, franchise development, and careers initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, advertising, or public relations required
- 1-3 years of marketing and content creation experience preferred
- A passion and strong understanding of the industry and our business' mission
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our business' various types of content
- Communication skills to maximize effectiveness while collaborating and working with various teams and vendors; these skills include active listening, written, verbal and non-verbal communications
- Understanding of writing for search engine optimization
- An analytical mind and interest in using data to optimize/scale blog marketing strategies and tactics
- Flexible writing style for a variety of audiences
- Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts
- Strong knowledge/understanding of social media outlets
- PowerPoint Skills and general presentation
