This role would report to our director of branding & communications. On any given day, the person we hire for this role might find themselves:Working closely with the Cartus branding & comms team (your direct peers) and cross-functional subject matter experts to develop short- and long-form multichannel content to support Cartus lead generation/nurturing activities and elevate our reputation for industry thought leadership, including but not limited to blog posts, podcasts, white papers, survey reports, video scripts/storyboards, product marketing materials, webinars, and social media campaignsCollaborating with the Cartus web team and third-party agency partners to:Help develop and manage buyer personas and journeysDevelop and manage lead generation and nurture strategies and campaigns using our marketing/email automation platformContinue optimizing cartus.com’s front-end UX/UI and back-end capabilitiesManage short- and long-term SEO strategyCreate landing pages to support paid and earned digital campaignsUpdate native and embedded cartus.com content and resourcesPartnering with our external agency of record to build and refine our paid media campaigns, deploying tactics for brand awareness, demand generation, lead conversion, and other top-of-funnel tacticsCoordinating with external and internal partners and data sources to deliver validated analytics and reporting around digital lead generation/attribution, web traffic, and other evergreen and campaign-specific KPIsResearching and presenting on the latest trends and best practices in digital marketingAs needed, writing and developing other thought leadership content in partnership with our external communications teamOccasionally, proofreading/editing content for other branding and communications deliverablesRarely, traveling for industry or team events (1-2x/year)Who you areWe might be talking about YOU if you:Are motivated by the challenge of melding the creative with the quantitative to develop, implement, and optimize Cartus’ short- and long-term digital marketing and content strategyAre not afraid to initiate change when you see opportunities, even at the cost of short-term discomfortAre an outstanding written and verbal communicatorHave a growth mindset to adopt challenge, learn from failure, and understand that setbacks are opportunities for growthHave 3+ years of hands-on experience building, executing, and analyzing a full-stack digital marketing and content strategy, including website copy/information architecture, landing pages, SEO/SEM, paid media, marketing automation/email marketing/CRM management, digital analytics/ROI calculations, and other digitally driven lead-generation and -nurturing activitiesHave 3+ years of experience of writing and developing short- and long-form content and thought leadership across multiple formats and channels as described previouslyAre familiar with any of the following digital platforms, their capabilities, and their optimization tactics: Contentful (our CMS), Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (our CRM—formerly known as Pardot), Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SEMRush, Google Search Console, etc.Are willing to jump in anywhere else you might be needed to support our mini-but-mighty mob of merry marketeers (e.g., event marketing, award applications, etc.)What you’ll bring to the tableMust-haves:Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience3+ years of experience in digital marketing and content/strategy developmentStrong communication skills, especially virtual presentations and written communicationsStrong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-makingMinimum home internet speeds of 50 Mbps download and 7 Mbps upload (not reimbursed)2-3 professional references available upon request2-3 professional writing/project samples that you feel best demonstrate your ability to perform the work described to this point (please include as links within or as an addendum to your formal resume when you apply)Nice-to-haves:B2B or enterprise product/service experienceTechnical proficiency/direct experience in digital media attribution and pixel tracking, with a solid understanding of how to implement, analyze, and optimize pixel technology for effective tracking and measurement of earned and paid advertising campaignsComfort operating in a 99% virtual team environment (we use MS Teams)Familiarity with digital project management/Kanban tools (we use Hive)Perks and benefitsFlexible working arrangements: Fully remote working and flex-scheduling, as needed, to make sure work works for your life and not the other way aroundCareer development: LinkedIn Learning, numerous internal learning & development programs and courses (both within Cartus and as part of the Anywhere family), employee resource groups (ERGs)Paid time off: unlimited vacation, generous sick leave, and double-digit company-wide holidays every yearHealth and welfare: Medical, Dental, Vision insurance;
