Job Summary: We are seeking a creative and self-motivated Part-Time Social Media Coordinator Intern to manage and grow our presence on LinkedIn. This role is ideal for someone with strong video production skills, a sharp eye for engaging content, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical subject matter experts. The coordinator will be responsible for producing 23 high-quality posts per week to enhance our brand visibility and industry leadership. Key Responsibilities: Content Planning & Collaboration: Work with internal subject matter experts to understand technical content and develop engaging social media narratives. Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting aligned with company goals and campaign schedules. Video Production: Record and edit short-form video content suitable for LinkedIn, including product demos, product highlights, team insights, and interviews with experts. Ensure all videos reflect brand standards and communicate clearly to a professional audience. Post Creation & Scheduling: Write compelling post copy tailored to LinkedIn's professional audience. Design or source appropriate graphics, thumbnails, and captions as needed. Performance Monitoring: Track post engagement and performance metrics to help inform future content strategy. Qualifications: Experience managing business social media accounts, especially LinkedIn. Proficiency in video recording and editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, ShotCut, or similar). Strong communication and writing skills, particularly in simplifying technical concepts for general audiences. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Familiarity with industrial automation, manufacturing, or STEM/technology topics is a plus. Work Hours and Compensation: Hours: Approximately 1015 hours per week, flexible schedule. Compensation: $20 per hour Location: On-site in Schaumburg, IL, as needed to record content and collaborate with subject matter experts; remote or on-site for editing and post creation, depending on candidate's location and equipment needs.
