Product Marketing

Renton, Washington.
The Customer Leader serves two vital roles within BCA Sales & Marketing: they are the Sales & Marketing representative and voice of the customer to the airplane program senior leadership team, and they lead the model product marketing team of marketers and analysts to design, develop, and deliver compelling presentations to airlines, lessors, and media in support of our Sales teams. An ideal Customer Leader uses their knowledge of the airplane, program network, and customer experience to ensure that the program receives the sales & marketing support they need, and the sales teams are kept current on program status and emerging issues. This is a high travel (up to 25%) position leading a diverse team of early career engineering and business analysts and experienced product marketers in a very collaborative and flexible environment, with significant exposure to sales, marketing, and program leadership.
Position Responsibilities:
Coordinate communication of program issues with Sales VPs, Sales teams and customers as required.Collect and organize customer needs, and coordinate with Sales Initiatives to provide Product Strategy and Feature Strategy the information needed to drive compelling market requirements.Provide customer engagement and key partner support as Product Marketing resources require (will require global travel, potentially up to 25% of the time).Coordinate with Model Leader to ensure information & message alignments across all customer facing organizations.Daily management of Product Marketing team.Engage with the Fleet Chief office to stay abreast of operator issues and coordinate messaging.Leads employees conducting analysis, developing and delivering products and services marketing materials.Leads the coordination of product marketing activities with engine suppliers.Directly presents the value, attributes and characteristics of Boeing products and services to airlines, leasing companies, maintenance repair and overhaul providers, media, investors, appraisers and other key constituencies.Develops and motivates employees.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role.3+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership.5+ years of combined experience supporting commercial airplane marketing, sales, and/or an airplane program.Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time both internationally and domestic.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher.Experience presenting to commercial aviation customers.Detailed knowledge of Boeing commercial products and their value.Detailed knowledge of commercial aircraft operators.Experience working with sustaining and development airplane programs.Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility
