We invite you to apply for our Trade Show Marketing Manager. The role assists with the US conference strategy and executes the Hill’s US national conference strategy. This position is responsible for ensuring an impactful Hill’s presence and engaging customer experience at US conferences. Plan, Coordinate, execute and attend (where appropriate) all vet and pet trade show strategies aligned with Hill’s company marketing objectives to ensure Hill’s provides best in class brand activation, lead generation and sales opportunities. Maintain understanding of Hill’s key business priorities and how conferences support Hill’s overall business objectives
Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors for booth ideation, construction, set-up and onsite execution. Including evaluation of key vendors recommending best in class partnerships and maximum ROI with each vendor.
What You Will Do:
Pet and Vet Channel Tradeshow Planning, Organization and Execution - 80%
Organizes, plans, coordinates, and administers trade show strategy in vet and pet channels
Ensure consistent and compelling brand representation at trade shows through engaging booth designs, marketing collateral, and promotional activities.
Work with manager(s) to identify and recommend business driven marketing and sponsorship opportunities at new and current trade shows
Plan and execute all conference activities associated with sponsorship (booth, marketing, social events, customer meetings, other sponsorship obligations) ensuring all activities are accurate, meet deadlines, and consistent with the Hill’s brand.
Develop communication materials using a variety of tactics (written communications, presentation materials, Google Meet and other platforms, small group meetings, etc.) to articulate key messages of conference logistics to all necessary departments.
Establish and maintain digital method of maintaining trade show documents (contracts, sponsorships details, schedule, calendar, marketing materials etc) and sharing with relevant stakeholders
Be on site at prioritized conferences and virtual for others (pet and vet) to execute, organize, and support ALL conference activities ensuring the team is set up for success for best in class execution.
Conference Evaluation: Measurement and Analytics - 10%
Implement metrics reports to measure effectiveness of conference activations with the goal of continuously improving and maximizing conference ROI.
Identify areas for optimization
Administrative Duties - 10%
Work with your manager(s) and finance team to oversee budget, create purchase orders and provide vendor payments for ALL conferences
Lead and execute ordering and management of tradeshow marketing materials, assets, give aways, structures, etc. and communicates with the onsite Hill’s team expectations and deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
3-5 years of experience planning/coordinating trade shows and events within the animal health industry
3+ years experience in one or more of the following areas: customer service, working in cross-functional teams, project management , animal health
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
CTSM or CMP certification
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
10+ year experience in trade show planning, event planning or meeting planning
Experience within marketing and/or communications
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $92 000,00 - $128 000,00 USD
Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:
Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.
Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements
Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually
Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually
Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year
Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
