Seeking Screenwriter for Spiritual Sci-Fi Feature Film (Studio Interest Attached). Hi Stage32 community, I’m Dinesh Sastry, author of The Mysterious Story of God, currently in development conversations with Magnolia Pictures. They’ve expressed interest in a film adaptation based on my book and have requested a professionally written screenplay to move the project forward.
I’m looking to collaborate with a screenwriter on a spec or partnership basis — ideally someone passionate about spiritual themes, nonlinear storytelling, and metaphysical narratives.
The Story: Think The Matrix meets The Tree of Life, with elements of Cloud Atlas. The film is a visionary tale of reincarnation, divine identity, scripture, and the Second Coming, blending spiritual and political mythology across timelines. The protagonist is a modern-day avatar who unites all religions to bring about the Kingdom of God on Earth — with New Jerusalem descending on Andhra Pradesh and the San Francisco Bay Area.
