Position Summary
The CRM manager will provide technical expertise for the implementation and management of TargetX/Salesforce and provide technical assistance and training to employees throughout the college. This position will lead the effort to establish/refine policies, processes, and procedures related to maintenance, update, upgrade, integration, and development of the college's CRM product and to provide expert-level support and technical training to all users to properly utilize the system. Manage daily technical operations related to CRM technology support.
Essential Job Functions
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Serves as the primary subject matter expert and the technical lead for the TargetX CRM application development and implementation.
2. Creates and maintains user, technical and operational documentation for the college. Train users on CRM and other software usage.
3. Helps develops, implements, and tests new CRM processes, as well as troubleshoot solutions to system problems.
4. Works with internal constituents to ensure data integrity and that systems are appropriately functioning and to meet the long and short-term enrollment goals of the College.
5. Builds, expands and supports TargetX functionality for more automated and effective student support efforts.
6. Prepares enrollment management analytics. Assists with the presentation of analytic reports.
7. Monitors system performance and completes CRM system audits to assure the quality of data collected, performing duplications and consolidating data as needed.
8. Monitors TargetX/Salesforce CRM and the related systems to ensure data integrity. Use tools to streamline the management of business processes, data extraction, and data transformation/normalization.
9. Maintains user accounts/permissions for TargetX/Salesforce CRM.
10. Oversees CRM Budget.
11. Executes responsibilities in accordance with applicable laws and the College's policies, which includes the Code of Ethics.
12. Contributes to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds.
13. Remains competent and current through self-directed professional reading, developing professional contact with colleagues, attending professional development seminars, and attending training and/or courses as directed by the Vice President.
14. Contributes to the overall success of the division by performing other essential duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Vice President.
Requirements
Associate's degree required in computer science or similar discipline. Bachelor's degree preferred.Experience working with CRM Systems, specifically TargetX or Salesforce preferred.Salesforce Admin Certification or TargetX Xpert Certification preferred.Supplemental Information
Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills necessary to interact effectively with colleagues and university personnel with users of varying technical skill levels.Demonstrates good organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to anticipate problems and take the initiative, structuring one's own activities and using resources to maximize productivity and efficiency.Demonstrates good work habits, dependability, punctuality, flexibility, and attendance.Computer SkillsExperience with Informatica, Axiom, and other API intermediariesExperience with Form Assembly, especially its integration with Salesforce (required)Experience with Ellucian products, ex: Colleague, ImageNowCertified Salesforce Administrator with at least 1 year of experience in that role or equivalent experience.Basic knowledge of the budget process.
