POSITION SUMMARYThe Partnership and Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for all digital marketing along with all internal and external partnerships for Innovative and Lifelong Learning. This person will run all digital marketing and have a large focus on building strong partnerships with companies, organizations, and potential students who would find value in our offerings.The Partnership and Digital Marketing Manager will help create and execute marketing plans and tactics to generate interest and demand for the designated portfolio of programs. Plans will incorporate an integrated mix of traditional and digital strategies (such as online/web advertising, search engine marketing, direct (e)mail, radio, social media, campus fairs and events, corporate outreach, web content, etc.). This person will have expert knowledge and proven results developing and leading digital marketing initiatives and is tech-savvy and intuitive with ideas to reinforce and scale strategies.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESMarketing Strategy (20%)Creates targeted product-line marketing plans that include advertising on traditional, digital, and streaming platforms as well as traditional forms of marketing and that focus on our various key audiences, e.g., potential new students, corporate partnersManages strategic internal and external partnership initiativesPlans and manages the marketing budget to ensure financial optimization and that targets are metImplements community outreach efforts with the goal of increasing awareness and support for I&LL's programs and services.Brainstorms ideas and conducts research of potential new students and partners for new and strategic marketing contentPerforms other duties as assigned.Marketing Implementation (20%)Supports implementation of integrated marketing efforts; responsible for executing, tracking, and reporting on these plans with an expectation of continuous assessment to improve results and conversions.Supports content creation for various marketing materials in diversified formats (print, digital, video), including proofreading, error checking, fact-checking, and production project managementReports on effectiveness of marketing campaigns; leads data analysis on marketing strategies and tactics to ensure effectiveness, make mid-course corrections, and to reach goals; creates and maintains regular reports regarding campaign performanceCollects and analyzes student data and testimonials to help with targeted marketing effortsSupports I&LL website with manager as neededRepresents I&LL at functions, meetings, and activities, including University-wide marketing meetings, campus open houses, partner events, etc.Create concepts and works with videographers on video projects from beginning to endSupports work with third-party vendor relationshipsStudent Recruitment and Partnerships (30%)Works with vendors to purchase targeted lists based on specific interests, demographics, etc.Actively seeks and manages partnerships within the University to help promote our programs (Alumni, Military and Vets, C2Hub, etc.)Finds and maintains partnerships with organizations, companies and associations outside of the University to promote and support our programsOversees the strategic management of all student recruitment efforts to best position I&LL for growth in all areas.Design outreach strategies for students who inquire but who do not register or enrollDigital Marketing (30%)Implements and manages all aspects of I&LL's digital marketing, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Meta, SEO, Google Ads, etc. There could be some cross-promotion in placing print advertisements with partners as well.Develops and monitors campaign budgets and performance.Plans and manages I&LL's social media platforms and presence.Prepares accurate reports on I&LL's digital marketing campaign's overall performance.Identifies the latest trends and technologies affecting the higher education industry.Brainstorms new and innovative growth strategies.Oversees and manages all other digital projects.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Public Relations, Communications or related field3 - 5 years experience in marketingExperience developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive marketing/communication and enrollment plans.Experience with digital advertisement platforms, CRM, and social media channels with measurement and industry changes.Experience in the development of segment-driven messaging aligned to marketing audiences.Exceptional written skillsDemonstrated organizational ability, attention to detail, solid decision-making, and project management skills to manage multiple projects at one time.Must be proficient in working in a fast paced, deadline driven environmentStrong communication and interpersonal relation skillsPreferred QualificationsProven record and positive results with marketing plan development, including a strong knowledge and experience in digital marketing strategies, specifically for recruitment/enrollmentCreative, self-motivated and results oriented problem solver with a desire to work in a 'startup environment' with ambitious growth plansExperience with website design/and SEO strategies to improve conversion strategiesExperience in university admissions or university marketing and digital mediaExperience in developing and managing various forms of social media for an organization.Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing.Salary for AnnouncementUnder Colorado law, MSU Denver is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role and should not offer a salary outside of the range posted in this job announcement. This range takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position.
